  • 1 egg white
  • 1 whole egg
  • ¼ tsp of salt

  • 2 spears of asparagus– chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of onion, diced
  • 1/8 cup of mushrooms– sliced
  • ¼ cup of zucchini– diced


  1. In a small bowl, add the whole eggs, egg whites, black pepper, salt and cilantro. Beat.
  2. Place the clarified butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add in the onion, asparagus, zucchini and bell pepper. Cook until these have soften.
  3. Add in the egg mixture and cook over medium heat.
  4. Fold the egg in half. Place into a plate.

Fruit Carpaccio

This is a simple fruit salad which features mangoes. Mangoes are great for yoga lovers as they can help calm the nervous system.


  • 1 piece of ginger– peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp of raw honey
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • ¼ cup of water
  • 2 mangoes, sliced
  • 2 peaches, sliced

What you need to do:

  1. In a blender or a mini food processor, add in the honey, ginger, cinnamon and water. Blend the ingredients on high. The ginger should be finely minced.
  2. Slice the peaches and mangoes, then place them in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle the first mixture on top of the fruit. Toss the fruits to evenly coat.
  4. Serve right away.

Citrus Waffles

This recipe is made a lot more delicious with the secret ingredient– grapefruit. It adds a splash of flavor without adding the calories that other sweeteners might.


  • ¾ cup of oat flour
  • ¾ cup of white whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • ½ tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tbsp of raw sugar
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • ¾ cup of fat-free yogurt
  • juice of 1 large pink grapefruit
  • 2 tbsps of clarified butter
  • 2 egg whites


  1. Preheat the waffle maker.
  2. In a large bowl, pour the oat flour, white whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix it well.
  3. Add in the grapefruit zest, clarified butter and yogurt. Stir well.
  4. Place the egg whites in a separate bowl and mix it with an electrical mixer until it becomes stiff and fluffy.
  5. Fold the egg whites portion by portion.
  6. Pour the ½ cup of batter in the waffle maker. Close and cook.
